Mel and the Micro Pigs has been formed!!

 From the beginning of 2012 myself, Jonny Pollard and Alan Sullivan have grouped together to form an acoustical Trio

The Trio comprises of either 1 or 2 guitars with either male or emale vocals, and with music ranging from artists such as creedance clear water revival upto modern tracks by Ed Sheeran im sure we can find something to cater for all tastes.

Fill in music can also be done between our sets so hopefully soon we will be able to offer a complete party package.

I'll soon be adding some clips and footage onto a dedicated page so please pop back later and have a look.

This site has been put together to allow me to share my music with you and to share my up's and down's along the way.  Please feel free to have a look and if you like what you hear please, please, please spread links to my music for others to listen to.


I was born in 1998 in the North East of England and lived in a small village on the North Yorkshire Moors.  I still live close to there today, where I'm still at school. Following a period of time attending a stagecoach group I have started having lessons with a vocal coach as often as possible.

I've just had my first session in a proper recording studio, no more sessions with my dad and a dodgy iphone!!!, (or should that be my dodgy dad with an iphone) and I'm working towards getting 12-14 songs completed to make my own personal album.

I hope you enjoy them.

Alistair lived in the same village as me when I was younger and in 2003 when he was the runner up on TV's fame academy I was 5 years old and a big fan, and I still am today, so follow the link above to follow another talented Yorkshire artist.   

Maybe one day a Duet in the Downe Arms lol.

I've now been joined by a local guitarist called Jonny Pollard and we have put together our own PA system so we are working on performing some of our own live music around the area.  Please come and support us if you can, the dates and venues are listed on the main menu.  I'll update the site with some clips as soon and as often as I can and would just like to say a big thank you to Jonny for his help and support.

If any local bands have an interval, intro etc which we could use please get in touch, i'm sure you wont be dissapointed.

Jonny also organises events around the area, such as his increasingly popular open mic/busking nights in Guisborough which are open to anyone who would like to come and perform and help him raise some funds for Cancer Research.
